Like Phil I have decided to sell my S-10. I bought it from Jeff Simpson last July and have been enjoying it. At the time of purchase I wanted a pick-up and I had time to learn and tinker with an electric vehicle. It was drivable the day I got it. I immediately replaced the tires and shocks. In March I moved to San Francisco. I no longer need a pick-up. I donít have the room for it. Iím now looking for something small and a little fancier. My wife drives a BMW and I find I prefer to drive her car when I get the chance. My life style has changed. My range dropped from 40 to about 25 miles(my old commute) so I put in new batteries last month. My commute now is only about 14 miles round trip and sometimes a little more so this set has been lightly used. When I replaced the batteries I added 12 gauge multi-color wires to each battery for future use with PowerCheqs. The truck takes the San Francisco hills with ease. Where most cars mileage suffers from the hills I benefit. I use it going up but the regen puts it back going down. The truck has AC, Power steering, electric heat, an AM/FM/CD/Cassette unit in dash. The front battery box heater works the back one does not. The heating pad is damaged. No body rust, good paint, minor dings for a 1996. No damage to seats, dash, doors, roof or flooring. 37,000 miles. Iíve shipped it twice so I could arrange that. St Louis to Baltimore $400. Baltimore to my San Francisco door was $800.

Phil,
Sorry to hear that you are selling. Hope you get a good "new" EV. I've been using my truck every day and loving it. But even so, I've been looking at building a new one, maybe something sporty with a big motor and lots of power. But also a looker that makes a statement. I've seriously been looking at a solid AC system from Metric Mind. Something in the 114 HP range that can fit into a sporty light weight car. I can still get regen with it. I've loved the regen in my E-10 and don't know if I could live without that feature. Too bad Otmar doesn't build a Zilla controller with regen. That kind of power with regen capability... endless possibilties...

Good luck!
