My A/C Motor Controller has I beleive shorted out so to speak it produces pack voltage approximately at the output under no load and blows the fuse when attached to the motor. If I recall correctly the motor runs off less than pack voltage. the resistance of the motor input connection seems consistant with that of the P/S motor. Brushes are good and the motor and compressor are free turning. The A/C operated fine initially this year and then died.
How does one get a Controller rebuilt?

I am currently fixing one...

You need to replace the two MOSFETs they are IRFP250

You can get them here:
http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail?name=IRFP250N-ND

Also, check the drive gate voltage and that it looks like the one on the scope. Depending on how the MOSFETs fail, they can short out the gate drive circuit, which can damage it.

You can see pics here:

If you don't feel comfortable fixing it your self, you can send it to me and I can fix it. :)

Hey Art,
That's my controller that Wolf is fixing. Hope you can get yours fixed. If not, give Wolf a shot.
